I'm having trouble changing my email address for the new jimusho mail system and it really pisses me off! Darn! Can the jimusho stop getting on my nerves? I didn't think I'd let external factors affect what I feel for 8 but it's getting increasingly obvious my anger at the jimusho has caused a strain on my 8 love. I've never let the fact that I'm so incredibly unlucky with ballots because the jimusho refuses to give the younger groups their own fanclubs get to me till Yokocon. Then came SubaHina's Jweb sales. Strike two. The breaking point had to be when Yasu's tickets were entirely Playguide-based. It's bad enough we get our information from non-jimusho sources first, now we can't even count on the jimusho for tickets? Makes me wonder why I even bother to stay in the fanclub..

Ryo went to see SHOCK. He goes earlier every year huh? Last year it was the 11th, but I can't remember when SHOCK started its run. And hey, it suddenly hit me! He went with Ohkura last year!

First day of SHOCK! I know I should think Ohkura's pamphlet shots are yummy but sorry, the half-peeled shirt thing just makes me laugh! He looked so young and violated I couldn't take him seriously at all! Which Teigeki obaachan's idea was that anyway?! Heard from a friend he stuttered a lot tonight. おおくら頑張れ!!

How do you react to an email that screams, "錦戸亮上半身ヌード披露!!" LOL! Aicchan I'm going to kill you. XD I don't know how to translate the news article without rolling around in laughter so I'll just paste it here. What's the big deal anyway? Hochi actually had to cover it in today's paper. *thud* To think I only found out this magazine exists last month. *double thud* Should I buy a copy for The Ryo Fan? It's the perfect farewell present! XDD

∞ 8's got a new rensai in TV Guide starting from the issue out today. This week's a two-page special. The next issue, which will be out on the 9th, features some RECOMEN stuff in addition to a Yokocon report.

∞ Oh. Yoko and Yasu were guests at the KJJ con today. They appeared onstage during It's My Soul and Zukkoke of nibu's 8 medley. Yoko was wearing a white long-sleeved T-shirt and a red/white checked vest. AWWW I've never seen him wear something like that before, I think. Yasu wore a yellow hat and yellow shoes. Even his bag was yellow, supposedly. LOL! His pants were erm, patterned. *worried* XDD

A few years ago I decided my new year resolution would be to never make any more resolutions. And like all other resolutions, I shall break it now. LOL. Well at least I stuck to it for a long time.. XDD
My wishes for 2008:
1) Be a good child and friend
2) Improve my singing ← LOL
3) Ace every freakin' class.. ♥♥
4) Get that driver's license I've been procrastinating about!!
5) Work on all the languages I'm crap at XD
That's all for now. I want to be realistic.. (^^;;)
Let's recap the year a little. It wasn't a great year but looking back on the good moments, I'd say it was better than 2006. I'm disappointed I didn't accomplish ANYTHING though. It's so sad; I had 365 days and didn't do a single thing or even make a single decision which will improve anything in the long run. That makes me feel like crap. I may not be graduating soon but I have to at least get brilliant grades next year to make up for this. *determined* From the looks of it, 2008 will probably be another drag of a year. I myself have no idea what I'll end up doing besides my usual going to school and working my ass off. Well I do know I probably won't be able to take up studying abroad just yet, cause I'm stupid and don't want to risk missing 8's next tour. (=_=;;) I get a headache whenever I think about 8 in 2008. No idea which month or even city I'll be seeing 8 in. Or whether they'll even fit into my school schedule anymore. Guess my luck ran out huh? 8's con schedule will never match my semester breaks perfectly like they used to. (T_T)
JE-wise, I don't know if life got better or worse. Eleven Johnny's concerts is a dramatic drop from last year. Didn't see 8 a lot but who can really define 'a lot' these days? At least I saw their only tour this year, made it for Yoko's birthday show and maintained my personal record. (^^;;) What annoyed me was the inability to be at Yokocon despite all my efforts and missing out on the Okinawa all-last. The lovely thing about travelling less though, is feeling rich all year round. I spent sooo much this Christmas, I'm very sure my cards have holes in them now. I couldn't help feeling a great deal of accomplishment paying for Granny's giant birthday bash in August. *finally feels like an adult* LOL. I really enjoy splashing money on Granny's wants! We went shopping earlier this month and for the first time ever I could afford to pay for everything she touched. (Granny has exquisite taste. XD) I don't know if this has more to do with me earning more this year or the fact that I've been increasingly rational with con tickets.
Financial freedom aside, I've (unfortunately?) discovered a new vacation spot I truely adore. And now that we just found out my uncle will be relocating to Taiwan for work on the 7th next month, I even have accomodation and a perfect excuse! (Though I did temporarily wish he'd take charge of his company's Osaka branch instead. XD) Going to Taipei must be one of the biggest events of the year. My first girl trip! We bought sooo much despite the crazy typhoon, I'm actually slightly afraid of what might have happened if we had fine weather! We seriously went all out just to eat, shop and play; those were such happy times! It's sometimes such a pain to shop in Japan cause I can only make time for shopping in winter but I have NO USE for winter clothes! (^^;;) I'm counting down the days till Uncle A moves over. HAHA. Oh yeah. It's terribly ironic how I never would have discovered my uwaki if not for the Taipei trip. Grace and I were stuck in the hotel watching television and I happened to catch some rerun of him singing. Now him and his friends are an ongoing obsession. *blames Ryo* At first the uwaki was just the perfect distraction during Yokocon week but now I'm beginning to think I might not be able to drop him quick enough. And maybe I don't want to let go? We'll see how far this thing goes when I recap 2008. XDD
2008 is 8's year though. It'll be awfully unfortunate if I happen to outgrow 8.. (^^;;)

MERRY X'MAS!!!!!!!!
Gosh. I forgot how busy Christmas at home can be! Hope everyone had as much fun as I did!! All I want to do right now is SLEEP! And get up in time for New Year parties hahah. At least I'm done with buying and wrapping presents! Ah well. I haven't spent X'mas with family and friends since 2003; I should be glad I was even invited for the gang's annual X'mas bash. XD The countless pre-X'mas lunches and dinners with family were great! Everyone seemed to think I might fly off anytime so they insisted on celebrating in advance.. *thud* I love the people around me. (^-^)v

What a bland X'mas eve entry! Talking about Ohkura though, I was so glad when I could finally flip my calendar page yesterday. He looks sooo good in last week's page I kept thinking about a dear friend's extra SHOCK ticket. LOL!

関西ジャニーズＪｒ．の大阪松竹座公演（２４、２５日）と、大阪城ホール公演（来年１月３日）に向けて、メンバーを紹介する特別連載。トップを飾るのは「Ｈｅｙ！Ｓａｙ！７（ヘイセイセブン） ＷＥＳＴ」だ。
今年の夏、全員が平成生まれのユニット「Ｈｅｙ！Ｓａｙ！７」の関西版として「Ｈｅｙ！Ｓａｙ！７ ＷＥＳＴ」も誕生した。メンバーは中山優馬（１３）、中田大智（１８）、千崎涼太（１７）、藤井流星（１４）、神山智洋（１４）、竹本慎平（１４）の６人。
中山はＮＨＫ連続ドラマ「バッテリー」（来年４月スタート）の主演が決まったばかり。「ＷＥＳＴは関西のいいところをいっぱい出していければいいな。お笑いとか、しゃべりとか」（中山）、「ホンマに予想外のユニットでした」（藤井）、「ユニットに入れたのがうれしくて」（竹本）と初々しい。
一方、年長組は「なぜここに選ばれているのかを理解して、それぞれ伸ばしていったら強くなれる」（千崎）、「ＷＥＳＴのよさは、笑いにどん欲。この２人でつっこむから、４人ボケとかもありかもな」（中田）。松竹座の見せ場は「僕ら６人で歌うところのセットですかね」（神山）というボケ（？）に、さっそく「セットかい！」と、つっこんでいた。

Oh gawd. The more I avoid posting, the more there is for me to exclaim.. (O_O)
47 did REALLY well. Not only is it #1 on the combined weekly chart, it actually sold more than 200,000 copies in its first week. That's around twice as many copies as Heat up!'s original first week sales. *gulps* Most importantly, 47 is the ONLY DVD which crossed the holy 200,000 copies mark in its first week in 2007. OH MY GAWD. *stares at calendar* I suppose it's too late for anyone to beat us now? LOL. Gawd that's a crazy record and honour!
Quick comparision of first week DVD sales:
∞ Excite!! - 43,000 (first on both charts ← did no one release anything that week?!)
∞ Spirits!! - 75,000 (first on music chart, third on combined ← completely forgot what beat them!)
∞ Heat up! - 107,000 (first on both charts)
∞ 47 - 208,000 (first on both charts) ← !!!!!!!!
Which means they've hit #1 on at least the weekly music DVD chart for four consecutive releases! *claps* Isn't it almost creepy how they're doubling their DVD sales with every release though? Hope they don't plateau here.. Ironically this is my least favourite tour of the four. HAHA. Then again I'm lucky to have been at all those tours so no complaints! Hopefully I'll unwrap and watch my 47 before the year ends. XD
The annual rankings are also out. Validity period's last Christmas to December 17th this year.
Annual singles chart:
